Your Coronation Party invitation 8th May 1pm - 5pm

This Bank Holiday Monday (May 8th) we are organising a very special village event to celebrate the King's Coronation. After the massive effort with the Fair, this is a chance to relax with family and friends and enjoy a wonderful afternoon's entertainment on the cricket green. This invitation is open to Villagers, family and their friends - we have entertainment for adults and for children of all ages. There will be a nominal charge of £5 per head to be collected on the day (children 12 & under free) which is fantastic value for:

Lunch and drink...

Buffet sit-down lunch under a marquee: Coronation Chicken and jacket potatoes provided (please bring salads for all)

A free glass of Pimms (plus soft drinks). Also the cricket cash bar will be open for beer, wine, etc.

A 'Cake Fit for a King' competition (which doubles as a desert)

Entertainment...

String Quartet - traditional stirring string music

Played live for you by our Village's very own professional musician - Ralph Broadbent & family
